A San Diego police detective who was arrested for drunk driving after officers found her passed out in a parked car in Balboa Park is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday on a misdemeanor DUI charge.
Karen Almos, a 16-year SDPD veteran, was allegedly found about 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 22 near the Balboa Park Club on Pan America Plaza.
After her arrest, Almos, 47, was booked into Las Colinas jail in Santee, posted $2,500 bail, and was released.
She was assigned to administrative duties during the investigation of her case.
