The Law Office of Mark Deniz has the privilege of working with some of the best young legal minds in San Diego.  One of these persons is Alyssa Frazier.  Alyssa is a law student at Thomas Jefferson School of Law.  She is on the law review and one of the top of her class. She has an intense desire to help people.   She was invited to write on subjects that she comes across while working with the firm.

Today, she is writing about a recent San Diego Escape.

This happened while I was in my Evidence class.  My friend received an email and the news quickly spread.  My school is pretty close to where all this went down.

On Monday, March 21, 2014, at approximately 3:00 p.m., an inmate escaped from the central courthouse in downtown San Diego located at 1173 Front Street. The inmate was handcuffed at the time of escape, and the police searched both on the ground and by air for the inmate. A parking garage downtown was evacuated as a result of the incident. The inmate was described as black male, six-foot five-inches, with long curly black hair. It is unknown at this time what the escapee was arrested for.

People should keep a look out for someone matching the description and if anyone has any information about the escapee they shouldcontact the police department. People should be cautious, not only in looking for the escapee because it is unknown whether he is violent, but any help given to the escapee. Helping someone else commit a crime is a crime in and of itself, and thus people should stay away if they see the escapee and relay the information to the police.
