Woman Steals San Diego Police Car Chase Ensues San Diego DUI SDPD

This is going to be tough for this person.  Two previous DUIs and allegedly did all of this.  The CHP MVARS video is likely going to show most of the incident.  The good thing is that no one was hurt.  I can count at least two felonies plus a likely 3rd time San Diego DUI.  No matter the resolution there is an obvious issue and I hope she gets help.

Felicitas Flores faces possible charges of drunk driving, grand theft auto, assault with a deadly weapon, evading arrest and vandalism, according to jail records. The records indicate she has had two prior arrests for drunk driving. She is in jail in lieu of $280,000 bail.

A woman stole a San Diego Police patrol car then led authorities on a freeway chase for about 40 miles before she was arrested.

No one was hurt in the incident, which began shortly before midnight Friday.

Police say 22-year-old Felicitas Flores was booked into jail on counts including auto theft and drunk driving.

Police said she was able to steal the parked car because the keys were inside, and the officer who drove it was out of sight.

The pursuit began after motorists on Interstate 5 reported a police car driving erratically. Speeds reached as high as 90 mph.

The chase ended after the woman pulled into a rest stop north of Oceanside and rammed the car of an officer trying to arrest her.

Even with deflated tires, the driver of the stolen vehicle continued northward until pulling into a rest area north of Oceanside. Quickly surrounded by police vehicles, the driver attempted to drive away, smashing head-on into one of the police cars, police said.
