Escondido man arrested for parole violations

On Behalf of | Feb 9, 2015 | Firm News |

It is a slow day when a parole arrest makes the news.  It happens all the time.

When someone gets sentenced it may include formal probation.  This means they must abide by the terms of the plea agreement.  Some people believe that because they did not see much jail time on the front end that the case is not serious.  Often the judges want jail time hanging over his head in case they mess up.

If someone takes the plea agreement terms seriously then it is usually fine.  If they dismiss the terms and think little of it then they may have probation at their door.  After the arrest they become in front of the judge sees the lack of earnest in adhering to the terms.  The judge has great power during this time…with usually a lot of potential jail time at his disposal.  Probation and parole violations can sometimes be very tricky and other times they are truly misunderstandings/
