Potential first-round pick P.J. Williams, reportedly was arrested for DUI

You know the agent for this guy s shaking his head.  What is a guy getting himself in the prime condition of his life doing right before the draft?

When someone gets a San Diego DUI, it is usually not plastered on the news unless someone has been harmed. However, as soon as a celebrity obtains a San Diego DUI, everyone hears about it. Well, another celebrity has obtained a DUI this month. Even if PJ Williams does well on the field sobriety tests it is reported that the case is at the District Attorney’s office to determine whether formal charges will be issued.

What does this mean to me?

Just remember that anyone can get a DUI, whether you are a celebrity or not. So, although everyone makes mistakes, try to plan ahead and arrange for a designated driver, or get a taxi, rather than risking your life, money, or other’s lives.

You may not have the ability to rent a stretch limo like PJ Williams beforehand….but you do not want to risk a DUI

Potential first-round pick P.J. Williams, a cornerback out of Florida State, reportedly was arrested for DUI Friday morning, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Albert Breer.

Williams had worked out well at Florida State’s pro day this week, although scouts came away knowing that fellow Seminoles corner Ronald Darby was the better athlete of the two. The 6-foot, 194-pound Williams did test well at the NFL scouting combine with great numbers for the vertical (40 inches) and broad jumps (132).

Now scouts, GMs and NFL teams have more to consider. Williams’ arrest this close to the draft could raise big red flags for teams, and his stock could tumble.

Williams had a previous run-in with the law in October, according to the New York Times, leaving the scene of an accident but appeared to get off light from police with only traffic tickets issued.

Although it’s not considered an incredibly deep crop of cornerbacks, it would be shocking to see him taken high now, and it could push him to the third day of the draft.
